Arctic Tern
Arctic terns are common on Staple Island. When visiting it is advisable to wear a hat or cap to protect your head as they will attack you as you walk along the path, quite often drawing blood. They are merely protecting their chicks whose nests are often very close to the path. Canon EOS-40D with 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS lens.
